Hi everyone!!!!

I hope your week is going well. I wanted to post about one of the things that I like to do for fun. I love horseback riding!! I go weekly after school to a local barn to ride. I have been horseback riding for almost 8 years!!

I was in a horse show a few years ago!! It was so much fun!! The horse that I took to the show was one of the barn horses and his name was Johnny. He was trained to do Western Pleasure.  We won two first place ribbons and one second place ribbon. I was so proud of my Johnny boy!!! I was absolutely devastated when my teacher told me that Johnny was no longer at the barn. The owner of the barn had to retire him because not too long after our show, he injured his leg and he couldn’t canter. I still miss him to this day. I love you Johnny!!!

Now I am riding a horse named Peppermint. She is such a sweetheart and I love her very much!!! She is a really fun horse to ride and in some cases reminds me of my spoiled horse Beetle Bug!!  Depending on her mood, I have to really work to get her to listen and do what I need her to do.   These days,  I am just riding for pleasure.  It is my relaxation time and I really enjoy riding Peppermint.

Hey everyone!!!!!

 I hope your week is going well!!! I wanted to tell you about a magical day that happened recently. I live in the south so it hardly ever freezes or snows down here. But on this one day, it just so happened that we woke up to… SNOW!!!!!! This was the greatest day ever!!!! I walked outside and it was so beautiful!!!! I was so happy. I couldn’t believe that this had actually happened. Over the past few weeks I had been singing the song “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby and I feel quite sure this is what caused it!!!!! (HAHA!!!)

This is one day that I will always remember for sure!!! I have high hopes that we will see more snow this year, but I am so grateful for the day we had. My mom took some pictures and got a really pretty picture of our front yard and some cute ones of our horses!! Mom was jumping up and down and yelling to try to get the horses to cooperate, but only Tim and Gucci would pose for the camera. Beetle Bug, the primadonna of the group, had no interest in posing (#DIVA).

 It was sad when I had to go to school, but when I got there I had a huge surprise…there was an all-school snowball fight going on!! I also had this amazing teacher who let us skip first period to go outside and play in the snow…IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Sadly, I have no pictures of that.
